Three Nights x Three Speakers

THREE FLOOR is delighted to host a series of inspirational fashion talks, Fashion in Residence, in association with The Hoxton, Holborn. Each event will see three panelists debate a ‘hot topic’ with Stylist Rebekah Roy overseeing the proceedings. Guests will also have the opportunity to question the panel as will non attendees via social media.

The first event ,’Fashion in…Music’, on Monday, May 11th will feature a panel made up of emerging singer/songwriter and You Tube sensation, Shannon Saunders; music and celebrity fashion stylist Aimee Croysdill and cultural commentator, Fiona Cartledge (Sign of the Times). The theme will be ‘What comes first the fashion or the music?’ – Fiona will discuss her extensive experience of eighties and nineties club culture, particularly fashion tribes and will debate the impact the advent of digital has seen on modern day pop music and style with Shannon and Aimee. The evening’s proceedings will be brought to a close with a live, intimate set from Shannon.

‘Fashion in…Store’ will be our second event on Thursday 21st May. Vikki Kavanagh, formerly Fashion Buyer for Harvey Nichols and now Buying Director for recently launched Very Exclusive will join Alice Cuffe, Fashion Market Editor of Motilo and Tena Strok of independent boutique Celestine Eleven in East London to discuss ‘The way we shop now – how can a pure play online store really understand its customer?’ Vikki will talk about her different experiences i.e.  high profile, luxury fashion ‘bricks and mortar’ retailer versus newly launched pure play store; Alice will bring her extensive knowledge of digital shopping and online fashion consumption to the conversation whilst Tena will add a unique perspective of how a small, independent boutique can use its customer insight and service to compete with the major players in the online fashion space.

Our final talk will be ‘Fashion in…Photography’. THREE FLOOR’s Head of Design, Marie Sripha, will join respected fashion stylist, Tamara Cincik and photographer, Eva K Salvi to discuss ‘Who’s the boss?’ As models, photographers and stylists become superstars in their own right who really directs the vision for a brand campaign? Marie, who brings extensive experience of managing photographic shoots for a wide variety of brands will debate creative freedom within the confines of brand guidelines with Rebekah and Eva, this one could get heated!

The events will be supported by Anna de Codorníu Cava who will be present at each event to educate guests about this unique wine named after the Codorníu heiress, who in 1659 married Miquel Raventós, a competitor. The ceremony joined together two wine-growing dynasties of the time but it was Anna’s name, that was retained, an early example of female empowerment? We will also be joined by Chef Chelsea Parsons of Well and Happy with a tasting menu comprising of three delicious desserts!

Tickets are £10.00 per person from which a £5.00 donation will be made to Marie Curie and guests will receive a £5.00 voucher to spend on as well as a THREE FLOOR goody bag and glass of Cava on arrival.

Fashion in Residence Talks will start at 7pm and finish at 9/9.30pm dependent on the evening’s programme and will take place in The Apartment, The Hoxton, 199 – 206 High Holborn London, WC1V 7BD
