Today marks the start of the #GreatestShowOnTurf, as the elite of the National Hunt world flock to Prestbury Park to try and claim some of the most prestigious prizes in the jumping sphere. Dreams will become reality for some, whilst bubbles will be burst for others, as racing fans are treated to 27 races of sheer equine entertainment. Tomorrow is #LadiesDay so lookout for the #well -heeled ladies of the racing world, as the first ‘mad hatter’ day of the season truly gets underway, amazing concoctions will be teamed, we are sure, with the ubiquitous but highly unpractical high heels, sexy dresses (probably due to the time of the year under wraps) or sharp Cotswold appropriate suits, expect plenty of dazzling outfits to be on display on the second day of this year’s Cheltenham Festival.
Here are some of our outfit suggestions for the Season ahead, teamed with the amazing hat-making artistry and creative craftsmanship of #RosieOlivia, one of the fast rising stars in the millinery world www.rosieoliviamillinery.com.
A graduate with a First Class Honours Degree in Decorative Arts from Nottingham Trent University in 2010, before studying millinery at Central St Martins in London, Rosie has trained with some of the most iconic talents in the hat-making world including Philip Treacy, Victoria Grant and Stephen Jones. After receiving funding from the Princes Trust, Rosie established her own millinery business, quickly becoming renown for her use of colour and luxury materials, along with a signature lace trim, resulting in wearable statement pieces for daywear and formal occasions – a perfect choice for original millinery and the perfect choice of ‘titfer’ to team with THREE FLOOR’s statement dresses!
